Bioidentical HormonesAfter your initial evaluation, your physician will discuss with you the methods by which you may receive your hormones.  These include:
    •    Topically applied (transdermal including creams and patches)
    •    Injections either into the fat in your belly (subcutaneously) or the buttock muscles (intramuscular)
    •    By mouth (oral, and usually reserved only for progesterone, DHEA and cortisol)
    •    Implantation of pellets (see menu)

Your hormones will be ordered from a compounding pharmacy.  The pharmacies we recommend are:
    •    Medaus Pharmacy (www.Medaus.com)
    •    Mark Drugs, Roselle and Deerfield (www.MarkDrugs.com)
    •    University Compounding Pharmacy (www.ucprx.com)
    •    Healthway Pharmacy (www.healthwayrx.com)
